Epson SX405 ink cartridges
Buying ink for your printer is never easy and it’s especially difficult when you printer takes four different cartridges. This is the case for the Epson Stylus SX405, it uses four individual ink cartridges, one for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. This system has an advantage of the old tri-colour block cartridges because it means you only have to change the colour that is empty and it’s far more economical in terms of less printer ink being wasted. Genuine Epson inks for the SX405 are available to purchase separately or as set which works out a little cheaper. The real saving however are to found in the form of compatible ink cartridges. These are available from most ink cartridge retailers and offer print quality equal to that of the genuine cartridges but with a greatly reduced price tag. The quality of compatible cartridges can vary between brands, a good way to tell if the compatibles you are considering buying are good quality is to read reviews that other customer have left.
