Digital Signage
Technology is rapidly increasing every day, and this is playing the main role in changing of our lifestyle. From last fifty years, our lifestyle changed in many ways like our way of advertising the products. Now the time of digital signage to advertise your product. The term digital signage refers to screens both large and small that are used to show content and advertising. The screens are usually networked to a main content server which can usually be administered from anywhere in the world where an internet connection is available.
Digital signage is now widely used by the industry just because of the convenience and affordability, Many companies including large and small are using this technology to advertise their product or services. The main benefits of digital signage are they are very clear with their audio and video quality. Digital signage is also being very popular in common places like hospitals, schools, government and shopping malls like places. Digital signage is working with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times. Digital signage offers superior return on investment compared to traditional printed signs. Some devices are most commonly used in the Digital Signage advertisement to change the data from one signal to another.
In the Digital signage advertising, we need to use a video converter from vga to component that is very useful to switch between two components input to audio and display one of them as a VGA Monitor. There is another one device that is using in this process is HDMI (High definition multimedia interface), this is used to convert digital hdmi to component video, We can easily connect HDMI to LCD or plasma monitors.
Protect Folders in XP
There is way to Password Protect a folder built into Windows XP (for other Windows flavors, there are some freeware/shareware programs out there).
#1: If you have a log in password for your Account, this can be used to protect folders from other users. Your hard drive must be NTFS.
Right-click on the folder you want to make private and select “Properties”. Go to the “Sharing” tab and check the “Make this folder private” box.
If you do not have a password on your account, a box will pop up asking if you want to assign a password. This must be done if you want to make the folder private, so click Yes . You will need to use your password to log on to your computer from then on.
Type in a password then confirm it. Click the “Create Password” button then close the Password window.
Click OK in the Properties dialog box.
Now anyone else logged on to your computer can’t access that file without knowing your password.
